FFH Editor Problems

I've been trying to use the FFH Editor spreadsheet to improve the balance of Thessa compared to the other Ljos leaders, but I've been having a lot of problems.

It is a read-only file, despite when I go into ''Properties'' by right clicking on it it is clearly not marked as read only. I've tried to replace the original with my editted one but no luck, I also can't delete it and put mine in it's place, both because it claims to be a read-only file.

I am using windows Vista, and have FFH 2 patch k (I think).

What am I doing wrong?

Its vista. Try disabling UAC and see if that helps.

I've turned it off. It now has ''(read only)'' in the title, but in Propeties it is still marked as not being read only. It still wont let me save changes .

It also has an ! on it's icon if that's significant at all.

Man this is frustrating.

If anyone's interested, my improvements to Thessa are:

1. Making Tigers and Treants Non-permanent.

This is for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, I really disliked the fact that I was ambushed by a stack of 20+ Lanun tigers. The Unit cost was probably hurting them and as far as I know the AI doesn't understand the proper use of them (tiger cages).

It also tones down the elves in general by a small amount.

2. Swapping her Arcane trait for Summoning.

This gives her a strategy unique to the Elves. She can delve into the Arcane and benefit more strongly from it. It also gives her a legitimate reason to experiment with the dark arts, for the excelent summons associated with it. This is quite fitting to her lore.

It also gives her an advantage over the other Elf leaders with FOL priests, but in a different way to Arendel's Potency promotion. If I've done this right she should be able to have 3 tigers per priest, and 3 treants per high priest at any one time.

3 easy changes, but with big effects.
