Ok spreadsheet feedback.

1. It was slighytly more helpful, but things like the cost of the next workforce and the food cost for growing each town would be the m ain things I would need.

They were there- scroll right and look at the top. Tell me if this is suitable or not.

Fixed.

Putting our other stories up soon?

They are now up. If i forgot or missed any, please don't hesitate to tell me and i'll fix the situation.

I'm not sure if I approve of the Sidar getting two awesome UB's at the same tech, not to mention a really early and cheap tech.

Well, the pop requirements mean he won't be getting them anytime soon. you got 174 (25+36+49+64) or 620 (174+81+100+121+144) food lying around anywhere?

Heh ok I didn't see that.

Also I am making some improvements to the spreadsheet if you don't mind. I will email you my suggestions and if you like them then you can keep them.

That would be really helpful.

By "streamlining" once one has Linguistics, does that mean we get to pick research based on we what something that's already been "revealed"? And what happens to overflow research? I mean, I get 'X' rp a turn, most techs cost 25rp, and one costs 15. There is going to be extra, is it just given over to the next tech in that line or what?

This question was PMed to me and i thought i would answer publicly since others might have the same question.

Linguistics allows you to choose to research towards a tech thats already revealed to any other player. For example, lets say the Hippus have open pit mining and the Bannor have communal farming and the Sidar have linguistics. In that case the Sidar could research towards comouflage (his streamline tech for being sidar), any of the various resaerch categories, or the communal farming or open pit mining technologies that the bannor and the hippus know.

Left over research points are banked until the next turn when you can declare what you want as your priority for that turn.

Orders due the 3rd of January (this extension is due to christmas).

Ok that's fine. The orders I sent you are my final ones.

@Thomas: We need to discuss R30 and our plans for it.

I finally got a tiny-pic account and sure enough it lets you post larger pictures. I'll make up a nice high-res map for the next update, but for now, here's a look at the current map (at low res)

Orders are due today. If you don't get them in by early tomorrow morning then your governors will bank your money and food and make their own best guess as to what they think the best research priority for your civ would be. Without proper leadership, your civ will lose 1 stability also. This reflects the confidence that active governing provides and how the lack thereof may cause consternation amongst the people.

either way the update will proceed- its not like theres so much going on in the beginning anyway.

Random update to those interested: I've decided to scrap my EkoNES map in favour of a new one which I prefer. Luckilly I've found out I can copy-paste my terrain from my old map into my new map so the workload isn't too large. I would post a picture, but due to the focus on exploration in my NES the full map is going to be hidden from players. My discovery also means that, if he doesn't mind, I may borrow some of teh mountain texture from Jopa's map to use in mine.
