Maybe... Its still strange how Spain are so high as they never get that far in major competitions.

Yeah they do but then you would think that there would be more focus on the major tournament results as qualifying games should be easy except for a few difficult games.

sure, but if they are easy for Spain, they are easy for England, Holland, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina and Portugal too....so it doesn't really matter. Ah well, we agree that those rankings aren't very important if not completely useless. For example Surinam, if they lose they fall 10 positions, if they win they improve 20 positions...that kinda thing. Within the top 10, easpecially within the top 5, everyone can beat everyone.

I allways say that if it took France to win 3 international tournaments in a row to get to 1st place, then these rankings are ridiculous. Any knowledgeble football fan doesn't give a **** about them.
