Button mashers? I guess fighting games are more button mashers than most other games.

Fighting games? I say Super Smash Brothers Melee which is predictable considering my avatar :D

Yes, i guess you could call them button mashers.
I dont lie wreslting games, but DOA and Mortal Combat are good, and fun to play at hard diffuculty.

I been playing UFC Throwdown and its pretty good. There is a ceratin amount of button mashing but hitting a particular button or move is more effective.Kinda like real ultimate fighting in that if you make a mistake, you're done.

I had alot of fun with WCW vs NWO for N64.Moves ran together very smooth.

My all time fav would be the old arcade game "Exciting Hour".Arcade wrestling where the moves were an absolute blast.

Never liked the MK/street fighter type games.

Well Super Smash Brothers: Melee is the only fighting game I don't consider a button masher. Should be reason alone to buy a GameCube.

hmm i dont think most games are button mashers.

my fav f-games:
marvel vs capcom 2 (and the rest of series :p)
tekken series (tekken 3 and 4 own)

i never did get that capcom vs snk game :p

I bought a Gamecube for...you guessed it... Super Smash Brothers Melee.

Most games take skill but most importantly, timing.

I thought Soul Caliber was cool, and all about timing also.

I am going to by this PC gamre as soon as it comes out. I played the shareware version in 1996 or so and it was an awesome game, especially since it was free.

I can't wait to start playing in the online fighting game genre.

this thread seems to be asking essentially, when you play a fighting game are you a button masher?

And yes i am
