(poor english, i know)
I have just look at the "final map of Rise of Rome" thread, and think it could be very interesting to see final maps of finished Conquest Pbem. With summary of the game, possibly.
I finished several months ago a Napoléon Conquest called "d'Austerlitz à Waterloo" (french forums), here is the map at the end of the game (i've played Prussia) :
Austria allied with France at the begining of the game. Austrian Hussards took Milan in the very few turns, then failed to take Florence (lack of luck, the british had only a few troops in Florence). Ottoman empire then allied with great britain, and declared war at Austria. These two empires fought themselves for several turns, none of these had been able to win. The english landed in Danmark and captured the three towns. (Prussia refused to allow french troops to go thourgh his territory)
Meanwhile, the french captured Amsterdam, and then attacked in Italy. Like Austria, they were blocked by the famous Hills of Florence with massive conscription. Finally they managed to take the city, and then Rome and Naples, but it was too late.
Russia, Spain and Prussia, have been allied for the begining, and have been neutrals. Prussia and Russia invaded easely Sweden (IA). About turns 30, they were well prepared for war (hospitals, banks, many troops), and decided to attack the french-Austrian Alliance. In exchange, they claimed Danemark (for Prussia) and Portuga (for Spain).
Austria has been quickly destroyed under both ottomans and russian assaults (half ot the austrian were russian, ottomans took the rest and Italy)
France was simultaneously attacked by Spanish, english and prussians. His armies managed to contain the spanish in the south, but the northen France failed in few turns. Then, all the country was quickly invaded when the russians have arrived. Oslo, Nancy (and Danemark) were prussians ; Montauban, Bordeaux, Limoges (and Portugal) were spanish. Half of Austria and Belfort-Orleans-Lyon were russians. The British had northen France, Turin and Marseilles.
The peace didn't last for a long time ; a few turns after the destruction of France, ottomans armies attacked russian (which had no armies, and only a few troops more), took Vienne, Salzbourg... Prussian and Spain finally (rop with russians) declared war on ottomans, while the english claimed their neutrality (they claimed Italy). Consequently, the ottomans were clearly outnumbered and began a long retreat. Spain occupied Italy (which has been given to England in exchange of Gibraltar and Marseilles-Turin), Prussia the ex austrian cities. The decisice battle occured near Istanbul, where the ottomans lost all their cavalries and armies. Spain landed troops in greece and captured Athens-Salonique, Russian took Istanbul and Asia minor, Prussian took Sofia (wich was exchanged versus Belfort with the russian)
Five turns before the final turn, english launched an attack against the russian empire, while Prussia and Spain were neutrals. They managed to capture somes cities (Vienne and Venise), but were quickly destroyed by the russian counterattacks.
Russian won by points (two turns before the final turn), england was second, prussian third.
