Well, I completed this game and achieved domination around 1725. Wasn't really paying attention. First GOTM I played, so I'm fairly happy. I'm not going to submit it, since because of game crashes when trying to contact Spain, I know I got some advantage out of replaying turns on several occasions. Tried to play it as clean as possible, though. I look forward to the next one.

Please try to help us by at least attempting to follow the rules that we have in place to keep the games fun while preventing spoilers.

You can do this by following the examples of the experienced players or by simply setting yourself the standard of Reading the Rules and the Instructions.

As an example, your ending date information and the fact that Spain is in the game could be disruptive for other players depending on the time of the month that you spill these tidbits.

Also this makes a great opportunity to emphasize that you ALWAYS should indicate what version and class of game you are playing in the very first line of ANY post about a game. If you cannot post this information as the first line of discussion you probably just reduce the value of anything that you might have to say and therefore it would be better not to post at all. Again this is just a practical issue that we all need to pay attention to because we have decided to try and support players of different levels and in different software version instead of deliberately excluding anyone.

Just above you here in the list of threads is a thread titled "Reminder: * Do not open ANY threads about current games*". The reason for this is just to prevent spoilers and excessive clutter. You could easily have posted this information in the appropriate spoiler thread and then you would be joining in the process just as intended.

Opening a seperate thread like this IS NOT what you should do either on purpose or if by accident by clicking the "new thread" button instead of post reply.
