This scenario takes the 10 European civs from the game, put's them on a European map with real start locations, and loads them with flavor units. The Celts start north of their origin or else Greece would have no place to go, also Russia starts further East or else Moscow would be hanging off the Map.

This scenario can be played on the two maps included: A standard size European map created by thestonefan, and the huge European map from the PtW CD (edited for this project).

This scenario is much more enjoyable to play then may seem. I can't pull myself away from it! Besides, if you don't like it then kiss my booty. I was going to make it for myself but I'm just too nice. ENJOY!

you place the files and folders that are on the zips straight into the CIV3PTW/Scenarios folder. You shouldn't have any problems.

seems like you're giving heavy emphasis to certain civ's (Germany, France, and Ottomans in particular).

profica, well they're just the ones with alot of flavor units. if there was more for spain i would have added them.

Well, the Spanish Infantry during the 1500's were the best foot soliders in Europe, I think you certainly should include those as a flavor unit.

Also, maybe a Spanish version of Medieval Infantry would be useful too, since they were almost continously involved in the Reconquista for several hundred years.

It was the Greeks which used the Phalanx, not the Romans. Centurion was a military title I believe.

and the phalanx unit looks very much like a roman centurian. all this was discussed in the preview thread.

You have to make sure that the the normal units arent available to the civs that get flavor units.

I think it also would look better if you used the units original icons, instead of the reguler civ ones

not including them saves valuable space, and i would think it would help those who are not familiar with the unit creation community if they could see what it replaces visually.

Have you thought about adding Poland? Some units have already been made for the country, and it would add some balance to the game I think.

great scenerio . the units worked, and i didnt screw them up !
i played as the ottomans. i expaned into europe had tons of resources, wines, spices, etc. i will crush the greeks

and no, UA is not University of Akron, but a small town in ohio.

swordsman??? that's the same upgrade sytem as everybody else. if the other civs don't have double swordsman (which they don't) they shouldn't either. i'll have to check that out.
