I like the yellow ones...
Hello all, long time no see!
I recently picked up Civ3 modding again after a long break but I've run into a snag. I was adding ships to my sci-fi mod but 2 of them keep crashing the game. Both are older ships from Star Wars (the same author I think). They look fine in flicster but in game they don't load, the game just hangs (although the preview in the bottom-right box does show). I should also note that these units did not come with either Civilopedia images or units_32 files, so they were a bit incomplete to begin with.
I think I've narrowed it down to the flc files themselves causing the problem (everything works fine if I swap them for renamed flcs from a working unit). In flicster, I notice that one offending unit has an animation time of 0, while others have a number there based on the number of frames they run, see below (working unit on the left):
Also I notice that the default palette on the broken unit is different from the working one. See pic below for what I mean:
I've tried exporting them to storyboards with flicster and then re-animating them again but it hasn't helped. I have attached one of the broken flcs below. I'm kinda at a loss as I don't know enough about flc's and I never encountered this with another unit.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
