Flimmer

I need some help got a old astvision 4l screen its like 10 year i knw but most games work ... but civilization just is a flimmer... i get the same problem if i would raise the hrz to over 70 hrz in monitor settings...

Can i lower it somehow outside the game ??? Cause i cant find anything in the manual to lower resolution or the hrz ..
PLEASE HELP ME !

Sorry dude, but It looks like you need to get an newer moniter, if your looking for one cheap try finding a compuiter recycling firm.
