Is it? This game is getting dumber and dumber by the minute... Anyway, I think the average rating is about 53 or so, a 60 rated player fits in there perfectly.

If we are talking about Willem's team, he really needs a decent goalkeeper... Well in my view thats an area that could be improved rapidly.

And besides why is the similar rating thing, dumb? Its not an all powerful thing, I'm sure a 60 rating player would improve the team, it just means that if you brought two players rated around 55 it would probably improve the team more. Assuming that you spend the same amount of money overall.

Ah... I think I misinterpreted what you said. I thought that the difference in rating was a factor that might influence the performance of the team.

A good goalkeeper can save you a lot of points. One of the reasons that I had all those goalless draws last seasons was the performace of my goalkeeper... and that means I was having the good part of the draw...

Yeah. I noticed that the teams in pos. 1 of each league (I mean the first div. of each country..) have the best goalkeepers in the game...

Someone really really dumb sold me a 54 rated midfielder. I'm not complaining, obviously. I'd like 1 other midfielder so I could play 4-4-2, or maybe two if I'm lucky so I could play 3-5-2. If not, I'll try to keep the forward I've loaned, but I don't really need him very hard.

Here are the guys that'd have to do it. For reference, check my previous screenie from a month ago.

EDIT: oh yeah, another 1-0 win today!

Two goals by RŽmi Mendes and Edgar Schoenmakers saw AS Beauvais Oise run out 2-0 victors against Sedan-Ardennes. The game saw an impressive performance from Beauvais who have continued their great cup form whilst still being in the relegation zone, although there is still hope for them in this battle. Some fans have voiced concerns that ultimately the club's French Championnat league status may be traded for the cup run.

Of course for now, most fans will be celebrating that their club has reached their first major final in their history and are now looking forward to the final against Monaco who are 11th in the table.

Its the last week of the season, and AS Beauvais have a huge task ahead of them. Their first task is to overcome mighty Monaco in the league cup final, which Beauvais did so well to reach but they must now attempt to win against the massive favourites for the match, although their league position does indicate that the match could be reasonably close, with Monaco lying in 14th place.

Whilst Monaco in 14th place can relax after the cup game, as they have already reached safety, Beauvais must go through the turmoil of going into a last day survival battle. Beauvais will start the match against mid table Marseille, 2 points adrift of safety. However if Bastia or Nantes lose whilst Beauvais win then they could survive.

The Beauvais manager has limited his comments on the upcoming games, simply stating that the team knows what they have to do and that at the end of the week we will see whether we achieved this. The board are believed to have backed their manager and will not sack him if Beauvais go down.

Three more games for me, but i don't think I'm gonna make it to Europe :(

I started changing my team very late..

A real pity, would have been nice to win the cup in such a desperate position. Are you going to continue with the game? I'm getting sick and tired of the rng.

I wouldn't...:(

Anyways, I have only one match to play and I'm gonna end up in the middle of the table...that's why I'm changing my team into the same color. I'll post my team and my season round up after I complete all my transfers.

I will continue to play as I expect that my team should be able to win the league next season, if we struggle then perhaps I will quit.

could you post a season round up like shabba did?

As you can see in the end I managed to win my last game of the season but sadly Nantes won as well so I finished 2 points from safety...

The team came so close to survival and as you can see the midfield and defence could certainly be stronger, which is annoying as I have 6 million to spend but no success at trying to spend it, at least I have a whole season to try and buy someone new next season.

I did do quite a few early transfers with my last major transfer being a slightly better goalkeeper, Paul Gemmill.

The highlight of the season was reaching the French league cup final where the team managed to at least make a game of it but sadly they lost and in the end we went down as well. :(

rng?

Random number generator, like civ3. I'm fairly sure this game doesn't have the same kind of statistical engine like, say, hattrick. I've drawn or lost too many games that I should easily have won.

Nice team you got there dell. You can be proud of your attackers. Might not be strong enough for the french premier league...

I knew that this would be a problem throughout the season but you can't force the other teams to sell players and of course I would have hoped to have gained more points against the other two promoted teams but out of 4 matchs I think I ended up with 4 points.
