You never know, they could still find some financial malpractice with some other clubs, that's not too uncommon in the french league ;)

You will be pleased to know that I managed to spend £3,500,000 on a new defender: DEF N Harley age: 22 rating: 56 actual value: £2,500,000 and he is a green spade as well, which is the ideal symbol for my team. Hopefully I won't start losing money next season so that I have to sell players...

You spent +1mil on a 56 player? you're nuts..

Not when thats the only way to buy players and if I was to sell him I would probably get the same amount. Basically in Game 7 players seem to be sold at the maximum bid value and thats the only way to get players. Plus he is 22 so he should improve slightly :)

You're right...maybe it seems too much for me since I'm in a new game where the market is very good.

Basically prices have gone up over time as there is rarely enough top quality players on the transfer market, so the sellers can charge whatever they like...

In Game 10, AS Beauvais Oise also made it to the league cup final but lost it too. But in the penalty shootout...

Where are they in the French league? In the top flight? And where did they finish? I am intrigued. :)

Their season is still not over..

So the reverse of my team in the league then, I'm going down as they are almost certainly going up.

Could you post Inter Milan's pos. in your game? I'm intrigued as well :)

Since the upload function isn't working:

1 Inter Milan 34 21 7 6 54 22 +32 70

2 Juventus 34 18 8 8 34 23 +11 62
3 Parma 34 18 7 9 42 23 +19 61
4 Lazio 34 17 10 7 27 17 +10 61
5 Venezia 34 16 8 10 32 26 +6 56

And also on CM Inter won the title again, but sadly once again we lost the CL final, this time to Juventus. Also do people in Italy care that much about the Italian cup as I won it and got no board reaction?

Just a shame about real life :)

No one, absolutly, no one cares about the league cup. The top teams always put their youngsters to play those matches and the players that don't have the chance in the league.

Well, I'm happy Inter won in your game and I hope I will be in that pos. by the end of next season. The team I'm building right now might be able to do it.

That explains it then, although I'm a little confused still that the board were delighted with winning the super cup/charity shield...

Btw Paul Ince wants to manage Inter

who´s Paul Ince?

With Paul Ince deciding to stay in the big time for another season, the former Manchester United ace can drive Wolves' attempt to establish themselves in the Barclaycard Premiership. Although Ince wasn't sure he still had what it takes at the top level, the attraction of top-flight football for another year was too good to miss and so he signed a one year extension in July 2003.

Ince, who will remain as club captain, added: "When last season came to an end I felt a lot better physically than I had done for the previous two years, so it was not as hard a decision to come back this year. As long as you feel physically right, you want to play as long as you can."

Manager Dave Jones realised he needed some wise old heads after Wolves let promotion slip so dramatically at the end of the 2001/02 season, and Ince was the perfect man.

Joining Wolves on a free in the summer of 2002 Ince quickly established himself in the heart of the team and was a major figure in their promotion.

His vast experience at the highest level domestically, internationally and on the continent will be invaluable to Jones' squad, who are sure to have a testing time in their debut Premiership season.

Ince made his name at West ham before a controversial move to Manchester United. He was part of the golden era at Old Trafford in the nineties and as a result established himself in the England team.

His larger than life character upset Ferguson, and it was inevitable 'The Governor' would move on. He fancied some time in the sun and opted for a glamorous move to Inter Milan. Ince is one of few Englishmen to succeed in Italy, and after an enjoyable and successful time he returned home, joining Liverpool.

He later moved to Boro before deciding to step down and Division, agreeing a move to Molineux.

He can't have been that successful

I'm a bit shocked Inter. Ince is pretty famous. I got a nice picture of him after England got kicked out of the '94 qualifyers.

Well...I had never heard of him before.. maybe my dad knows who he is..

Your team has been relegated to a lower division. The board still has full confidence in you and believes you have skill to take this team back! Good luck in the next season!
