Continuing the trend of cup results not following the league...

Strasbourg 3 - 5 ASBO!

They are in the top divison and i'm struggling in mine, hardly able to score and then when it comes to the cup I suddenly score 5...
 
Thanks for offering your 'keeper Shabbaman, but I got one from Bayern Munich, rating 58. He kept a clean sheet as I won 4-0 away to Real Sociedad!! Barcelona could only manage a draw away to Real Mallorca and despite Real Vallecano winning 6-0 and moving up to second I have a four point lead with one game left!! CHAMPIONS!!! :D :D :D

Thought Id post a couple of screen shots as my season has now finished. The first is my last match statistics, where Ive never seen this happen before but the opposition (Numancia a decent mid-table side) didnt manage on attempt at goal. Their sending off didnt have anything to do with that because he was sent off in injury time in the second half when Celestini could have had a hat-trick.

Congratulations! I see you didn't need my goalie then. Pity, after winning the leagues clean sheet award (the golden gloves...) he sure needed a holiday to the sun.

I got Bayern Munich's 'keeper who kept a clean sheet in the one game he played.

Still havent managed to sign my 78 rated mid yet, the other manager has a too small squad now :(.
 
I got a new midfielder, rating 54, aged 23. I'm pretty content with this, now I've got my selection for next season.
 
Nice pick up, I just picked up a 25 year old striker, rated at 59. Heh in the past 4 games I have out scored the oppenent 7-1 and what do I do. Get a better goalie and a stud striker. :goodjob:
 
OMG! ASBO won a game! 1-0 away against Chateauroux in 6th place. So I'm no longer bottom of the league.
