Yeah and I am playing Creteil at home and then Martigues away as my first two matches, which is slightly annoying as I need to get at least 4 points from these games if I am going to stay up.

An 0-2 away win over my direct rivals. Good times! In the last week, I've bought 2 solid players. Now I sold my my best forward, rated 53 at a price of 2.4

He was the wrong color (referring to his symbol here) and at the age of 30, and it allowed me to buy the forward I was looking for, age 26 and a rating of 51 for the low price of 1.7!
18 games to go, and I'm only 4 points behind the number 2 and 3, at the 7th place. The leader has 34 points, that's a gap of 4 points between the 1st and 2nd place...

Question, do all players retire at the age of 30? I've seen older players... My goalie is 30, I certainly hope to keep him a season or 2.

How can I sell players?

Their retirement age depends on their playing position. So strikers retire earlier than midfielders, midfielders earlier than defenders and so on. Also retiring players have an R next to their age to show that they are retiring at the end of the season.

You sell players by waiting for other humans to bid for your players. You can transfer list players, and post in your relevant game forum (noticeboard --> game 10) that you have a particular player for sale, their symbol, age and desired price. Then you may be lucky and receive a bid which appears in the same web page as your own transfer bids but in the section below it.

No I drew with them but I needed to get all three points as the games against Creteil and Martigues should be the most winnable as we all have similar squads.

Ah crap Martigues won so now I have 1 point from two games, after playing technically the two easiest times in the league. Looks like my pre season prediction is coming true

I drew my second game against possibly the best team in the league, Bordeaux. Deroff had a great game, was named MoM and got a full point added to his rating. I have faith my team will start winning games soon, though occupying the 10th place as it is, is within the goals for this season.

I'm suprised that the relegated teams have not done as well as I would have expected in your division so far this season.

well, we've only played two games so far....but i you just check those teams Those players are great!

Yep and thats why I am suprised, especially as with those wages they are probably losing money, at least when they play away games. Anyway I just sold a defender and could be selling another one next week, plus my reserve goalkeeper so its busy times.

My team is improving every week! Since I bought that midfielder 3 wins in a row. Hurray! And I even managed to get the defender I really really needed (yellow club, right), rating 56. Now, I might not be able to make it this year, but next year I'm a contender for the title!

Cool you might infact be able to win this season as you could go on a winning run like I did and manage to catch back up with the leaders.
