So after a crunch relegation battle last week the tension is mounting at the Stade Pierre Brisson for the next match for Beauvais as they take on fellow strugglers, Sedan. Sedan after doing well last season have had a poor start to the season and find themselves in 14th place and only 3 points ahead of Beauvais. Both teams will be chasing the win, especially Beauvais who are desparate for their first home win of the season, which could also take them out of the relegation zone for the first time in recent weeks.

Beauvais are expected to field their two new signings in recent weeks. P Gemmill, signed from Rangers in a player plus cash deal is expected to play his second game after keeping a clean sheet in a midweek friendly against French second division side, Stade Stade Lavalois, where Beauvais came out 1-0 victors.

They are also expected to sign A Heesakkers, the record signing from Fortuna Sittard who has missed recent games as he was given a chance to settle in the area before facing a competitive game. The player and manager have both made statements that say he is ready to play so he is expected to be in the team for the match against Sedan.

E Schoenmakers is my top goalscorer with 3 goals :( (Not enough) But at least my team could win the fair play cup as we haven't even had a yellow card yet :)
 
0-0, but Martigues won so whilst I moved up one place at the expense of Creteil, but now the next team is two points ahead so its going to harder to get out of the relegation zone.
 
Crap, another draw. I have drawn 3 or 4 times in a row now... :(
I changed my strategy to counter attack, midfield to wide play. Is that any good? I had 'attacking' and 'push forward'. I have doubts about the midfield, any ideas? I lack goals, I rarely get goals against me, but I can't score. If I win, it's with a 1 goal margin...
 
I hope you are all still playing as MCdread has posted in this thread for awhile... I haven't commented because I haven't won lately...
 
:lol: indeed, and that's not enough, since I really need a midfielder. Problem is there's no acceptable one for sale since I'm looking for an improvement, and all loan and transfer offers outside the list get refused.
 
Yes its quite hard to get players but its still possible you just need to make lots of offers and try and find the teams that would be willing to sell.
 
Oh well... Actually the last time I made 40 bids, none were accepted but its still possible to buy players especially if they are on the transfer market or if they belong to an active team. You never know I might sell you a player :)
 
You could also try to loan a player. Just search for young players with a high rating who are playing with a big Italian team and offer a loan.
 
No wonder you can't buy any players... Just 150,000 over the normal price isn't going to buy you a player. I've had to pay 300,000 more to buy some players
