I think they were meant to have changed it so that they might consider selling players now.

So, I finally managed to pull of a win. Good times for me. In an ultimate effort to squeeze out some goals I've decided to set training to 'shooting' for a month or two.
Opinion asked: I could sell my 31 year old midfielder (star player) for 4.1m, that's 1m above his value. Problem is that it's unlikely that I could find a replacement. Should I do it? He'll probably retire at the end of next season anyway...

I'm not sure. If you truely cannot find a replacement then it may not be worthwhile as you will get a replacement player when he retires.

He should have a similar potential but is likely to start off with stats that are worse. I'm not sure how much though.

I've almost bought one, but it was a heart unfortunately. Besides, a 10-point difference in rating is huge... Oh, and your in a different game
