Sometimes low rating players are actually useful. Since you have to name 14 players each week and subs don't recover as much as a player who wasn't even in the squad it makes some sense to have a very cheap extra player to fill one of the sub positions so that your better players can heal faster.

Champions! Champions of Europe! Champions! :D :king: :D

If you didnt guess I completed the double last night by beating Real Sociedad away 6-1; Djetou got 4 goals and is now my top scorer on 25 (Celestini 23, Velasco 18)

One game to go now and I have a five point lead. Home against Numancia which I still really want to win to take me to 91 points.

Cheers :goodjob:

I like my team to spread out the goals :), im sure they will get more next season as ive altered my tactics around a little and am scoring very frequently since i have changed, 30 goals in 9 games :D .
75 in 37 overall but would like to match newcastle next season who have 96 in 37!!

I lost 1-0 to Oxford, in the last game of the season.

They were one of three teams that could get relegated, and each of them had a match against one of the top 4 in the league! To tell the truth, I was kinda hoping Oxford would win, becuase I live near the city itself.

Anyway, Bury finished the season strongly in 4th place, 11 points off the 3rd place promotion spot. One of my stikers got the player of the year award.:D

I should be able to get promoted next season, but it will be a very close race, as their are afew clubs in the league in the same position as me. Plus the sqauds coming down from division one will probably be pretty strong. If anything, they have an edge over me becuase the styles of their players are less garbed, and I have a very small squad.

well, their players morale will be low so that's a plus for you.

yeah, relegation can cut your legs off..

Finished on 91 points last season :), won the last game 3-0.
Pre-season has just been done in G3 and Celestini has announced his decision to retire
Kinsella is now a 78, rodrigues 68 and campbell 69 so there were some positives to come out of it.

My current team to go into the new season:

So, what are you going to do about Celestini? are you going to try and sell him or keep him for the whole season until he retires?

Think im going to keep him, people who had youth players come in for retiring ones this season got fairly decent players, better than last season anyway. A good young mid 60 striker will do, ecspecially as money has little value in g3.

week 24. Still 1 point behind the top. At this point of the season, it's just me and Atalanta for the title. The others are way back, so wish me luck.
Won 2-0 yesterday, and swapped my green 81 att for a yellow one. :)

Well, here I go, I have finally managed to get a game. I am managing Schalke '04 in the German Bundesliga in the new FootieLite Game (16). My team seems decent for now, no transfers are looking to appealing right now, but we will see. I'm definitely looking forward to this. :)

Naervod, you might add to your sig a 2-0 defeat against Atalanta in Coppa Italia.. :p And it's four points ahead of milan (32 point) after the tie against Inter.

Welcome to FM, would you mind posting a screenshot of your team?

Yeah, I haven't updated it yet...It's funny that you haven't mentioned your 15 points behind, and only two (now three) wins. ;)

There's a pic of my team attached. I am trying to get rid of some of the players that are weaker and/or incompaible with the majority of the team's playing style. I'm also looking to pick up possibly a left-footed or ambidexterous strike. My Defense looks to be fairly strong and my midfield only a little less, so I will try and focus on more of a defensive oriented game, playing on my strengths while I build up the necessary attacking power throughout the season. I'm liking some of the younger players on my time, especially Giorgetti, who is only 17 and my second best attacker already. My keepers are also relatively young, which is good. I'm considering selling Schnellinger as he has a fairly incompatible playing style and is 29, so as a forward, he may not have much time until he retires. Besides, the profit that could bring be would allow me to get some more expensive, possibly better players.

looking at your team...

you got a great keeper (don't ever sell him) and a good team. Are you in first division?

Yeah, I'm in the first division (Schalke 04) and I will not sell him, not even considering it.

Yeah it is easy, but it's not the way I do things. I've always supported Juve. And also, my favorite English club is Liverpool. :)

yeah well, in england i like chelsea, but i've been following it since Zola's first year...I don't like Mourinho as a person, but he's an excellent coach.

NAervod, try and do swap or sell players to make all your team of the same color or style...or even better...both! That way they are going to play better.
