yeah, it's really going well now for some reason!

I just hate the coach of Eintracht Trier. I got a very good offer from Extremadura for my best defender, but didn't want to sell until i found a replacement. Then I finally found a replacement, and Trier would keep the guy for me (worth 2.1mln, I paid 2.5), but now he wants 2.9 million cuz some other guy offered him that. I don't believe him though, since the price on the transfer market has actually dropped to 2.1mln.

My team doesn't win an away game for ages. A long series of draws and a defeat against Dell's team. And I allways seem o score first, and then they allways tie. Aarrghhh!

Hey, I finally managed to get a team!!! Okay, it's no top squad, it's Cambuur. I guess nobody wants to play with them, but they're from my birth town, so I'm okay with it.

My next game is against FC Zwolle. Weird.

Any quick tips? I'm in game 3 btw.

EDIT: ok, so it's cup week. Pity that they don't list what clubs my players come from. I don't have any RL cambuur players I believe.

@ Willem I expect he is lying as that would be too high and he would have accepted it straight away if it had been that high.

@ Shabbaman consistancy in tactics seems to work quite well as players take time to get used to your tactics. Also footiemanager doesn't use real players and also game 3 has been going for awhile so teams wont be in their original divisions.

What rates better btw: the color/symbol combinations, or the ranking?

For instance, my best midfielder is yellow clover, rating 60. I'm looking for another center midfielder. If I'd have the option between a yellow or clover player with a rating of 50, would that be better than a non-aligned player with a rating of 55?

I don't care so much about the color, but more about the symbol. But with a difference in rating of 5 I usually go for the higher rating. Also check what your defenders and attackers have as color/symbol.

I focus more on the colour of the symbol but ratings are probably more important overall. I have now got a mostly green team so I might try going for a particular symbol from now on.

Does it make any sense to have a substitute goalkeeper on the bench? I have a goalie, defender and an attacker on the bench right now.
What kind of tactics do you guys use?
My stats:
4-4-2, zone defence, wide midfield and short combinations through the heart of the defence must give me enough goals...

My first game was scheduled for yesterday, but I guess that isn't processed yet.

EDIT: I see, I could have played a friendly yesterday, the game is probably saturday...
