I'm looking to migrate a database from Microsoft Access to OpenOffice Base. The reason is that the user is switching to Mac, which doesn't have Access.

I originally created the Access database (which is just a form of about 30 fields, many of them drop down menus to select from various options).

I really dislike working with databases.

I've tried to figure out how to convert it in an easy manner and have gotten a little help here and there on the OpenOffice forum, but it still caused me a lot of headaches trying to get it to work. I really don't want these headaches if I can avoid them.

I figure that for someone who is used to this stuff it's fairly easy to rebuild the form in OpenOffice. I don't need it to look fancy, just in the proper working order, then I can polish it myself. I will also need step-by-step instructions on getting the original data transferred into the new database.

I'm offering $50 US for anyone willing to do it. This assumes you know what you're doing, I can't use something that isn't working properly. It is, however, a simple base with nothing complicated. If I was into databases I could set it up in about an hour.

If you're interested just ask here or send a pm. It's easiest for me to pay via Paypal.
