For those living near Montreal

Based on my experience in the last few years, EBgames almost never receive a game when they are supposed to get it. They always have some lame excuse ready.

Anyway I thought I would share the following: until the 27 you can get the game at futureshop.ca for 49.99$ instead of 59.99$. You probably won't receive the game until Monday. For me, that's not a problem ,I can wait a few more days especially if I save 10$. It also saves me from calling everywhere trying the find the game, that can be a real hasle.

You can go to your closest FutureShop/BB and they'll give you the raincheck and call you when it arrives; this way you can enjoy the game on weekend. :)

That would never happen. I'll try not to be vulgar or insulting but the guys at EBgames in downtown Montreal are <censored>. Every time I go there, I feel I just walked in a moron utopia, if such a thing is possible

The guys at futureshop are not better, they seems to care more about talking with each other than taking care of their patrons. Ask them a question, the answer is always "I'll check on the computer" and then the inevitable "the computer doesn't tell or doesn't know" ... blablabla

When I think about it, customer service is pretty much bad everywhere. Which is why I almost always buy books, games, dvd sand such on the web now.

I work at the FutureShop on Ste-Catherine and I can tell you that we don't give a flying F about people that ask us for things like that... when it's there, you'll get it and that's about it...

In fact, the only thing we can see on the computer is how many we have in stores, are many are in transit and how many we have at the warehouse. And we're severly understaffed during rush hours (when people have a tendency to ask for these sort of things, especially on the phone), which doesn't help for the quality of the service you're getting.

But I'm not working in the games or software department so it's not that bad but I see how they are annoyed by some people, like you could remember the release date of every possible game and software by heart, knowing how many copies we'll get and when...

And the EBGames personnel better smile to me when I pick up my copy or I'll tell them all to go to hell, especially the lady that's so friggin rude! Bunch of morrons.... sorry about my rant!

Anyway, if any of you have any information concerning the availability in Montreal of the game, please share it!

Availability: 2PM tomorrow

That's what the clerk told me on the phone at EBGames downtown...

All I can say about Future Shop is that the clerks always talk to each others when there is no customer and that they still talk to each other went there is a load of customers...

Ok now any more news from stores around Montreal ?

OMG. So true.

Futureshop is probably the only store I walked out of (and many times) because of the total neglect of a customers' presence. Like you said, they just talk to each other all the time about unrelated crap.

As for FutureShop, the key thing is to get it in Mississauga (where it is now), at which point it's distributed to the different stores. You should be able to find it pretty much everywhere around 2-3 PM (but don't count on some big stores to put them on shelves ASAP)

Ok now I'm getting frustrated of searching... no store as this games yet in Montreal or around for people who didn't preordered. Imagine that... the EBGames in Lachenaie only received 2 copies... and they are both reserved.

Ok, j'ai installé le jeu et il y a bien l'option des langues. Après quelques heures d'essai, il y a quelques bugs.
