Ahem...

We don't have Veii, its already been conquered by the Iroquois

Unless you figure we should just turn on our allies the moment we're done. That's a great way to thank them. "I didn't say you could fight, just distract them!" :p

To Iroquois: "It's not a war against you. It's an action of unifying our peoples!"

We could culture flip the city, or provoke the Iroquois. After all, they're only our allies for the war against Rome. After that we're free game to them and vice versa.

*starts sending gold coin pies to all officials*

Odawara is clearly superior to a city we do not currently have, nor will have for a long while.

In a lot of my games, I can make the FP a greater city than the Capital (but not in Culture). I would like to see us do that here. I still believe Odawara is too close, but with the central location of Veii, if we could snag that city...with railroads it will grow very strong as well as quell corruption evenly in the South.

It depends on when we want to build the FP. We're not going to have Veii anytime soon, so if we vote to build it there we're not gonna have the palace for a while. I like the idea of putting it in Rome-- a city we'll be getting (hopefully) next turnchat, and a city in just as good a location as Veii. Plus, we'll also be getting the FP sooner, thus reducing corruption sooner and getting more use out of the palace than if we wait for Veii.

I guess I should've put deeds to castles in there instead. :p

Odawara can get it sooner than all of those, because we can start construction now. Its even more central in the continental sense. And its not full of Romans. Do you really want a bunch of barbaric Romans running the second capital? ;)

Ouch. I chipped my tooth. I thought this pie would be good eating. What is this? A coin. Who's image is on it? Wait, isn't that Epimethius's image on that coin? Boy, he does not think does he! :D

Rather Roman slaves than a gold rich mayor ;)

BTW, my pie was lost in the mail!

*hopes no one notices title engraved on coin* ;)

And get the post office to pay for your pie.

Veii: we don't have
Rome: builds one shield per turn
Odawara: central, almost ten shields per turn, already building something

;)
