Forbidden Palace

Hi all!

I have got a question about the Forbidden Palace. If a competitor captures the city where I have my forbidden palace. Will it be captured or destroyed??

I would guess so but I have never had that happen. My additional question would be:
Can you build it again if it is destroyed?

So what you're saying is that I can basically end up with several Forbidden Palace's?!
That must have a tremendous effect on the economy!

No... no... no...



You can not capture a Forbidden Palace (and neither can the AI). Once the city containing it is captured, it is automatically destroyed, but you can rebuild it.

Forbidden Palace is destroyed when a city is captured or razed -- OR when it is abandoned! Don't like your original placement of the FP? Sell off all city improvements, pump out settlers / workers to reduce pop, and disband city. You should have already started building Palace or other high cost imrpovement in that recently acquired, centrally located, foreign city on your "neighbor's" continent (or have a GL ready) to buil your new FP.
