WTH is the best golf game out there?..on any platform.
I have more golf games than you can shake a stick at but each one seems to be missing a little something.
I have:
Intellivison golf-fun for it's day
NES:
Lee Trevino's Fighting golf
Jack's Greatest 18(or something like that)
NES OPEN-the best of the NES..stupid cutsy Mario characters though and none had PGA license
SNES:
PGA Tour
PGA European Tour
Both pretty good.PGA license.Very small sweet spot so gameplay was tough at times
N64:
Waialae Country Club-rubbish,no PGA license, awful control
PS2:
TW2003-still new.Good so far.Lots of stuff to do/unlock.Chipping is awful though. So far anyways.Full PGA license
PC:
Jack 4-no good-good course editor though-no license
Links(champ edition)-the worst golf game I have ever played..period.No license.Lots of courses though
TW2001-pretty good but ai players always shoot the same score and online was a bust.Too easy as well.Limited license.Lots of courses but the game just plays too easy so 1 course becomes the next.
SimGolf-a different game where golfing is not the main thing.Surprisingly addictive
Have I got em all or have I missed a gem out there?
