Forts on top of a resource in an isolated island with a road used to give access to the resource, with patch 3.03 (with and without Solver's patch). Now with 3.13 (with and without Bhruic's patch) it no longer happens. It seems to be a bug introduced with 3.13.

Edit: removed old attachments because my quota is near the limit...

Exactly. But unfortunately there is no road between the marble and your city. And actually I can't see a way to connect them.

Used to be fooled by something similar in my early Civ days.
Road must connect with other roads and your cities!
Resource and road by itself not good enough.....

I had nearly an identical situation in my current game, except with Oil. I was under the impression that a fort next to the sea would act as a city and allow access to the resource. Is this something that was taken away with the latest patch or was I wrong in the first place?

I ended up building a terrible city just to get the Oil...well worth the maintence cost to see Stalins massive fleet of frigate going down one after the other to my destroyers! bwahahaha

Ha. I didn't know forts gave you the resource. Have been wondering why automated workers kept building them on top of resources.

I have attached an screenshot and a savegame.

With patch 3.17, this bug is gone! :goodjob:
