Solid bets!
I am actually thinking hard whether to include Gran Colombia and Italy in my list.

For me, it was between Gran Colombia or Argentina for the former Spanish colony Civ. I know Argentina "has" a female leader in Eva Peron, but Bolivar suits the big personality approach Firaxis is apparently going with.

I think some form of Italy is going to make it into Civ6, since the game has no Italian City states so far.

It is really hard to choose since there are so many interesting civs! For me, there should be no question of which civ is significant to be featured in this game. Every civ deserves a spot and I personally appreciate any civ that provides additional interest to this game.

My votes:

27. Mongolia
28. Byzantines

Please complete your bet!

btw I change my no 43 of my bet to: Navajo/south west natives (before Akkad)

I'm starting to think Mongols won't make it into the game until at least the first expansion.

I do not think the Mongols had anything to do with railways!

Here...
............
is the score after the announcement of "Korea"

For your ranking list is Korea the opposite of Nubia.
ALL of the current participants of this betting game have guessed correctly (100%) that this is in the first 40 Civs.

Congratulations to all:D

Wish I'd posted earlier and gotten that free Korea point but alas;

1-26. America, Arabia, Australia, etc...

Rise & Fall guess list
27. Korea - Seondeok (+0)
28. Netherlands - Wilhelmina (+1)
29. Mongolia - Kublai Khan (+1)
30. Cree - Poundmaker (+0)
31. Georgia - Tamar (+1)
32. Mapuche - Lautaro
33. Scotland/Celts/Gaels - Robert the Bruce
34. Zulu - Shaka

35. Canada - Samuel de Champlain
36. Ottomans - Mehmed II
37. Incas - Topa Inca

38. Maya - Lady Xok
39. Carthage - Hannibal
40. Byzantium - Alexios I Komnenos
41. Ashanti - Yaa Asantewaa
42. Babylon - Hammurabi

43. Sioux - Sitting Bull

46. Goths - Brunhilda
47. Celts - Boudicca
48. Ethiopia - Menelik II
49. Palmyra - Zenobia
50. Italy - Lorenzo de' Medici

I'm sure that they'll end up adding more than 40/50 civs overall. I know Civ V stopped adding DLC civs when G+K came out, but in this age of DLCs and micro-transactions, you never know. Could see upwards of 60. In which case I shall add 10 more for when the 51st DLC civ and/or third expansion pack is announced:

51. Mughals - Nur Jahan
52. Austria - Maria Theresa
53. Navajo - Haastin Ch'il Haajini
54. Philippines - Corazon Aquino
55. Maori - Hongi Hika
56. Denmark/Sweden - Margaret I/Christina
57. Colombia - Simon Bolivar
58. Vietnam - Gia Long
59. Hungary - Stephen I
60. Hittites - Puduhepa

Edit 12/13/17: added Georgia.
Edit 12/28/17: changed several civs around (didn't include the Cree cause that'd be cheating) and included leader guesses for the heck of it.
Edit 1/16/18: moved several civs around following some shocking new information.

28 Inca
29 Iroquois
30 Zulu
31 Amazigh (Berber)
32 Tamil
33 Mongols
34 Babylon
35 Mali
36 Assyria
37 Ottoman
38 Maori
39 Austro-Hungarian/Hapsburgs
40 Navaho

my edit for the expansion:
1-24{America, Aztec, Arabia, Brazil, Egypt, Sumeria, Greece, Rome, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, England, Norway, Russia, Kongo, India, Persia, Macedon, Scythia, China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Khmer, Nubia}

27 Netherlands
28 Portugal
29 Inca
30 Babylon
31 Mali/ Songhai
32 Ethiopia
33 Zulu
34 Siam
35 Mongolia
36 Korea
37 Byzantium
38 Ottomans
39 Celts
40 Italy
41 Vietnam
42 Swahili/Kilwa
43 Sioux
44 Morocco
45 Carthage
46 canada
47 Sweden
48 Maori/Polynesia
49 Maya
50 Iroquois

knowing that we have now 24 Civs in the game right now (America, Arabia, Australia, Aztec, Brazil, China, Egypt, England, France, German, Greek, India, Japan, Kongo, Macedon, Nubia, Norway, Persia, Poland, Roman, Russia, Scythia, Spain, Sumer)

I'm expecting to be wrong but here is my next guess or wishlist for the 26 civs would be this :

25 - Indonesia/Srivijaya/Majapahit
26 - Vietnam
27 - Carthage
28 - Iceni
29 - Korea
30 - Maya
31 - Inca
32 - Celts
33 - Mongolia
34 - Austria
35 - Zulu
36 - Ottomans
37 - Huns
38 - Byzantium
39 - Shoshone
40 - Bulgaria

Yes, I put the Iceni on the list, as my inspiration from watching Alexander lead Macedon instead of Greece which is why I put the Iceni on the list, knowing that Boudicca has led the Celts the last two Civ titles (Civ 4 and Civ 5). It's a move I'm going to predict to see Boudicca leading her Iceni tribe instead of the Celts as if Fixaris wants to add new civs to surprise us I could see the Iceni/Celts split coming but I'd love to be wrong.

And if it's 50 civs planned the next 10 that I would like to see :

41 - Apache
42 - Gaul
43 - Dacia
44 - Siam
45 - Polynesia
46 - Olmec
47 - Hitties
48 - Babylon
49 - Assyria
50 - Netherlands
My now revised list starting from the 27th down is :

27: Korea (confirmed)
28: Dutch/Netherlands (Confirmed)
29. Georgia (Guessing Tamar of Georgia leads it)
30. Portugal
31. Ottomans
32. Celts/Iceni/Gaul (Celts could be possibly split and Boudicca may get her own civ)
33. Palmyra (I wouldn't be surprised if this civ shows up with Zenobia leading it as this civ and Zenobia fit Rise and Fall perfectly)
34. Mali
35. Mongols
36. Carthage
37. Vietnam (still expect to be surprised by this civ).
38. Inca
39. Maya
40. Zulu (Gotta bring Shaka back)
41. Iroquis/Shoshone
42. Apache/Black water/Sioux/Navajo
43. Morocco
44. Goths
45. Babylon/Assyria
46. Argentina/Venezula/Columbia/ Grand Columbia Civ (any new civ from South America is needed)
47. Mongols (at some point they may appear could be this expansion but who knows)
48. Picts (Another civ that may be a possibility if the Celts get split up don't expect this one showing up)
49. Kilwa
50. Canada/New Zealand (at some point in the Civ series we could see either one of these two civs)

I would rather getting Phoenicia than Carthage this time, and let the spot for another North African civilization just like Numidia or Mauretania. I hate Morroco tbh, Having Massinissa, Juba, Kahina and famous berber figures this time would be really enjoyable.

So :

Africa :
27-Mali
28-Zulus
29-Ethiopia
30-Numidia

Europe :
31-Portugal
32-Netherlands
33-Austria

30. Portugal
33. Palmyra (I wouldn't be surprised if this civ shows up with Zenobia leading it as this civ and Zenobia fit Rise and Fall perfectly)
34. Mali
35. Mongols
37. Vietnam (still expect to be surprised by this civ).

49. Kilwa
50. Canada/New Zealand (at some point in the Civ series we could see either one of these two civs)

Thanks for your update but please pay attention for a valid bet you only can change one Civ once a month. Also your no 41, 42, 45, 46, 47, 50 should be more precise please:popcorn:

Here...
...
is the score after the announcement of "Mongolia, Netherlands and Cree"

We get two safe candidates and one surprise Civ.
Nobody has bet on the Cree!
Therefore, there were no big changes in the ranking.

Some stupid choices in the list. Siam, Mexico and Sioux are unlikely. I will remove Sioux and replace them with Georgia. Would have considered Italy too if was able to make one more change lol.

(if i had to add 10 more civs (they don't count), i would choose these)

51. Argentina
52. Colombia
53. Muisca
54. Iroquois
55. Apache
56. Navajo
57. Italy
58. Ghana
59. Mughals

I'm taking the Sioux and Canada out due to the Cree. Probably should wait for confirmation on Canada but feeling risky. Added Navajo instead.
