Has anyone completed the Leader Completionist foundation challenge? It requires a game to be completed with every base game leader.

I think this means the 20 original leaders and requires a victory in the modern age for each. As far as I can tell, I've done this but it hasn't triggered the challenge as complete. Does anyone think this one's bugged as well or have I got the criteria wrong?

The 19 leaders that were available with the base game are as follows.

Amina
Ashoka World Renouncer
Augustus
Benjamin Franklin
Catherine
Charlemange
Confucius
Friedrich Oblique
Harriet Tubman
Hatsheput
Himiko Queen of Wa
Ibn Battuta
Isabella
José Rizal
Lafayette
Machiavelli
Pachacuti
Trung Trac
Xerxes King of Kings

That's 1 leader short of the 20 required and I'm making the assumption that Ashoka World Conqueror is the 20th leader as he's the only other leader who has quests assigned to him. I'm happy to take advice on this though as I just had to guess!

If it says base game leaders it really shouldn't require any DLCs!

That said, if it is missing one (and only one) nonetheless, I would assume it is actually Tecumseh.

I did wonder about Tecumseh but he doesn't have any quests assigned to him unlike Ashoka World Conqueror. Because of this Tecumseh only has 51 challenges assigned to him (as per Ada Lovelace, Napoleon x2, Himoko High Shamen etc) which made me rule him out.

I'll try Tecumseh if Ashoka World Conqueror doesn't work. Thanks!

I don't remember for sure, but I think you need a 2K account for the challenges, right? If this is true, then one of the Napoleon could be the 20th leader - because you are guaranteed to have him when you are eligible for completing challenges.

Alternative: It might also be that the Ashoka persona are bugged (I have progress on both, but only ever played WC). Hence, maybe indeed WC counts for this, whether accidentally or on purpose.

I haven't completed yet but am working towards it. Did you use the alternate personas as well?

Anyone ever figure it out? I "completed" a game with every base leader, but no luck, so I'm wondering if you have to "win" a game with each? And maybe it's just the "modern age" (essentially getting all the steam "win in modern age as this leader" achievements?)

I got it with 19 "win modern age" achievements, but then it popped after (or during?) the antiquity age when playing with the 20th leader. So maybe you just need to complete the antiquity age? But this is only one data point.

the 19 listed above? who was the 20th you were in antiquity with?

Yeah I got it with the final one in antiquity. I'm guessing you only need to complete one age with them. I didn't need to use any dlc ones which is good because I don't have dlc. I had no problem getting it to trigger. But I'm guessing you do need to win with Tecumseh. But Napoleon isn't required.

The last one was Machiavelli in my case. But I did have a win with Tecumseh earlier. And Ada Lovelace, now that I think about it (who does not have an achievement).

But no Napoleon, no Personas.

I've now won the Modern age with every leader, including Tecumseh, Ada Lovelace, both Napoleons, all the extra personas, Simon Bolivar, and it's still not popped. I play on PS5 so I'm guessing it's just bugged.

Hmph, I've "completed" all 3 ages with every leader except Napoleon 1 & 2, Ada, and Simon. Still not triggered. Going to just do the "Modern Age Win" achievements and see if that does the trick.

I'm confused by you saying that there were 19 base game leaders but 20 are required, does it state that somewhere?

Mine just triggered once I I got a single legacy path with charlemagne in antiquity who was my last leader from base game. Haven't used either napoleon, ada or bolivar.

If you want a list of leaders required...look at achievements. They should all have a win modern age one with them.

I'm wondering if this is bugged... I'm struggling with it too, but, may be user error somewhere. I have all of the leader win achievements in the Steam challenges. Would there be a leader I need to get a win with that is not a steam achievement? I have completed modern age with every leader, and done one more play play through. I have not played with Ada or Simon. I'm wondering if maybe I have one loss with a leader, but I can't remember losing with one. If it's going down that route I usually wrap it up and start over and don't finish the Modern Age.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

I really think these kinds of challenges should provide the info who you are missing when you hover over the challenge. For example, I’m missing getting a milestone with 10 different civs. Clearly a bug, as I have the one with 30 civs. But I’d like to know which one I have to repeat to trigger it. And I’d like to know which one I’m missing for the play all leaders of the base game challenge. Although I know I haven’t played two of them.

I got it when I had played everyone except Napoleon both, Ada and Simon. Charlemagne was my last and it triggered as soon as he got a milestone in ancient.

It's not bugged, completed it over a month ago.
