Freezes on 2K Logo

Installed game successfully but when it loads it freezes on The 2K logo then I get a 'no signal to monitor' message, this happens both pre and post patch. Any thoughts? My PC is
3.0G P4, 200Gb HD, Geforce 6200, 1Gb Ram, XP Pro.

No help to you, I'm sure, but I have the same card and the same symptom!

Here's hoping someone will come along and suggest a fix...
