Fresh Install of Civ3 & Conquest????

OK I haven't played since @ 1 month after Conquest was Released.. & now I have a new PC & somehow I forgot to get all my mod files...
I did a search but had way to many plases to start so I'm sorry for a repost right of the bat...

to start I want to play the standerd game NO MAJOR MODS...

1st ? After Installing Civ3 & conguest what patches do I need to grab...

2nd ? I did find the resorce pcx that shows resorses better but the one I have has resorses that the basic game does not have...do I need to load a file update ??if so with one...

1. The latest C3C patch is 1.22f

2. What resource.pcx file is this? What does it do?

Just take the 1.22 FULL patch. (24MB)

I dont use any mods.
I think there are multiple graphic changing mods, guess you should find them in the mod forum or the downloads section. You could also check out apolyton.net for mods.

Also what do I add to the Ini file to get it to play in my monitor display ratio..1280 x 1024??

I am downloading the 1.22 patch from the civ3 web site..it lists it as 1.22 not 1.22f ..is that ok??

KeepRes=1. Make sure your monitor is already at that.

Yes, that's fine. As long as it's from the civ site.
