Friend can't join saved MP session

Hi, everytime we quit a session and want to play it later, he cannot join. He just get stuck at the statue behind the menu. What to do? We really want to finish

Same thing hapend to us. We were playing a game, 3 players and 4 AI:s. The next day when we were about to load up the game I stuck when the host launched the game. The other two could join up. We tried everything, from reinstalling the game, reducing graphics, he mailed me the savefile so I could host but nothing worked.
We decided to let me host a new game instead, after some turns we quit the game and tried to load it, it worked.

So why can't I join up others games? My computer is up to date and can run all other games with no problems at all so it's nothing with that.
I've tried google it but came up with no solution though it seems many others have the same problem. Does really noone have a clue what the problem can be?
I know we can play atm due to I'm hosting but it might happen again for some of my friends in the near future.

Would appriciate some help here.

So noone here have a solution for the problem? Everything works with loading and such when you guys are playing MP sessions?

Not much later than yesterday i hosted a FFA game with some NQ guys and we had to reload the game somewhere around turn 100. We had no problem to continue, everything went fine.
