I can win on Sid, and most often play on it now. I also went straight from Regent to Sid (wha?!?). How did I do it? I slowed everything down. By the 30th turn or so, I get to the point where one turn will take 10 minutes. I sit and consider EVERY possibility. Like this Sid gets crushed! :D

That's one of the reasons why I find Sid borring. 10 minutes? Heck! My turns can take as much as 1 hour per turn on Sid.

You think 10 minutes a turn is long? Sometimes I sit for an hour or more, negotiating, checking AI movement and interrelations, micromanaging, planning, etc....... Can become boring at times, true.

Wow I hate quoting myself

By the 30th turn or so, I get to the point where one turn will take 10 minutes.

Notice I said by the 30th. This correctly implies that after that, the turns become exponentially longer.

I wish I could do each turn in 10 minutes or so! :crazyeye:

My problem now is when I go down from Sid, I usually lose because I'm not good enough to play without thinking (which is what I do when I'm not playing Sid).

You are one brave dude. I salute you.

Assuming that this was directed at me, thank you! :D
