I would, if I had time and the knowledge to mod THIS game. I've never modded this game before.

so, sorry, and I REALLY hope that you'll find someone else :)

I would suggest an arrow from steam engine to Industrialization (not from steam power?)

I wouldn't also make Laissez-faire requiring marxism. It's a bit weird, because the theories are opposite to each other. :)

the Nationalism tree, I'm not satisfied with it :) My suggestion (=means nothing :)) :

======================Centralization====Marxism
==========================¦============¦
Nationalism -> Constitution -> Parliamentarism -----¦
==========================¦============¦
====================Foederalization==Laissez-faire

With each Centralization or Foederalization, you can build a small wonder. If the Centralization wonder is build, it's impossible to build the Foederalization wonder (Is this possible?)

And then:
================Marxism
==================¦
Industrialization --> economic theories
==================¦
===============Laissez-faire

I've been away for a while, but now I'm back. The tech tree drafts look promising - keep up the good work.

I've been thinking about the eras a bit, and here's one possibility that has come to mind:

1 - Napoleonic era
2 - Victorian era
3 - World at War
4 - Information / Atomic / Modern era

If the division would be done to three eras instead, then I would combine Napoleonic and Victorian era.

Anyway, now that we have the first tech tree sketches, I'd better start my mind to work on the units.

yor eras are good. But i wouldn't call the first and second like this. I think, it's a world mod and one is too french and the other too anglosaxon (for my sense).

Why not nationalistic era for number one (I know it's historically wrong, but nothing better comes to my mind) and imperialistic era for the second (not very accurate too). But they sound better in my ears than just names from guys (or ladys :) (argh, I hate the Gender discussion).
