funniest or coolest or lamest?

Joan doesent look very European in the 1st age :mischief:
She looks... strange in the 3rd Age
Ghandi looks cheap in the 4th age

Everyone thinks Joan is cool in third age but funny or awkward in the fourth. I still say she's funny in the early game, that helmet just doesn't suit her.

ancient isabella sort of looks like a man. :crazyeye:
joan looks odd in modern era. :hmm:
theres ancient henry, the double chin beggar. :rotfl:
and i wont even say that hammurabi looks like a complete tool in modern age. :mischief:

Who notices the helmet? She's got the cleavage.

It's both, to me at least. The bald Joan of the fourth age does look a bit odd to me, though.

The first game I played where France survived to the modern age came as a bit of a shock  :vomit: I was so horrified I nuked Paris a couple times to get rid of her. I was playing regicide and it destroyed the whole civ. :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :mischief:

I think she looks wicked hot in the 1st age.
All of the middle ages look really wierd with the messed up hats.
I've never seen what Shaka looks like in the modern ages

Shaka wears a suit and tie in the modern age; it doesn't become him.

PS: Welcome! :goodjob:

And what is the deal with Shaka in the second age, I mean really, what is he wearing?

My fiance thinks that 4th age Brennus is hot. We were playing a hotseat game (her as the Celts, me as the Ottomans), and she kept on asking me to make deals with her, solely for Brennus.

shouldnt it be the other way around, you be the celts , and she being the ottomans cause you cant see yourself when you are trading, you can only see who you are trading with. Unless there is a thing about hotseat.

Well, since she's learning the game, we sort of had a "practice" game, where we would move the couch over and sit side by side as we played, so she could see what I was doing and I could give her tips. And I didn't mean she kept offering trades in game, I meant she bugged me IRL to open up the diplomacy screen and get asome negotiation going (hence, Brennus, her honey, would be shown).

I love Joan in the 3rd ages. So lovely. But why on earth would she looks like GI jane in the 4th ages. Hmmm!

I saw GI Jane for the first time on TV this weekend. It didn't suck as much as I thought it would. There is a reference to Joan of Arc in the film. I'm sure that's why she looks like GI Jane.

heh, sorry, well, thats cool that your fiance likes civ 3( or at least Brennus). :)

I have to admit early Brennus looks cool with his tribal tattoos.

By the way, are any of Civ's programmers from Arizona? I ask because part (not all of it but most) of the cityscape behind modern Alexander looks suspiciously like downtown Tucson.

yea, Brennus looks cool in the ancient age.

Like somebody asked before, is there someplace where we can find civs throughout the ages? :mischief:
