Yes, I will admit I just started an island map and started randomly plopping down cities with aqueducts but all those aqueducts went to those places originally. I was not cheesy enough to edit the terrain to give me the best possible aqueduct. I felt those ones were the best. However the first one in the other thread is real from a real game I played (I won ). Also, to answer GIR's question that is another aqueduct that was not enough for me to make it online (or so I thought). Lastly, that picture you took Rising Sun is crazy. I wonder what will happen if you get the Church of Nativity.
