Well, I can notplay until after work (9 more hours) and would not post until tomarrow moring so if you can bea tthat then go ahead and I will follow. I will d/l the game right before I leave and play tonight at home unless I hear otherwise.

Here's the game. It is a long saga of Hive war. My attempted invasion force of many Recon Rovers was met by THEIR attempted invasion force and they decimated eachother. We have been playing chess now around the one strategic chokepoint, with me slowly blasting farther into his territory, but meeting HEAVY resistance. I think the solution is going by sea. Our first boat just reached his coast now. Transport boats should be made to ship units past the entrenched battle lines at the chokepoint.

Built the Merchant Exchange

Trade techs with believers; sign peace treaty

Build lots of Children's Creches
Damn! Launch assault force on Hivian Social Artery, only to meet Hivian assault force coming in!
Hive invasion force destroyed.
Apparently one of the cities I founded disappeared. What the hell?
OMG hive units are everywhere! And my stupid army is walking right into them! NOOO

get some dumb econ tech from morganites. They are being attacked by dumb believers. Oh well.
Also discovered cyberethics or some such crap. Social engineer up better tech rate. Woohoo.

It is rather dichotic...But i figure the only way the weak gaians can survive is to assimilate the hive, and thus let its precepts sweep the gaian people. If you cannot be the hive, you must take it in and emulate it!

Strategos takes order of play lists...looks at it...tears it up...and throws it out the window...

Ok I guess whenever someone feels like playing go ahead I guess turn limits are out the window too...

I hope to play either Thurs (optomistic view) or over the weekend (more realistic) If someone thinks they can get in before that go ahead.

Perhaps we should have first come first serve with a two person rule (at least two people must play before you go again.) Then anyone who shows up can post that they're about to play, and play whenever they want.

I'm begining to think so. Strange a year ago when we had 2,000 people here the game went better than now when we have 20,000.

Sorry guys...college requires much more studying then I had planed on I would still like to see this game continued and maybe one day when I have less work then usual I can drop in unexpectedly and play a few turns. Just not now (cursed exams!)
