GalCiv 2 fansites

I have been looking for a GalCiv2 fansite (much like what CivFanatics is to Civ) with no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations? I know of the official site and the forums but they seem to be a bit cumbersome. And I relize that we have a forum here at CivFan, I am just looking for something a bit more active and maybe with some tutorials me a newb like me

Use this forum

I mean, CFC is still the friendlyest forum I've ver seen, and that's why I (along with many other people) stay here even when they don't play Civ anymore. Just ask or say anything here.

Honestly, I've almost completely given up on Stardock's official forums, not the best endorsement for GalCiv2, to say the least. Fortunately, the game speaks for itself.

And to echo Pentium, CivFanatics is the best gaming fansite on the web, IMO. As owner of a couple of websites myself, and mod or admin in the past for several others, no one does a better job than Thunderfall and crew.

While at the moment I dont need to know anything , I am much more of a lurker than a poster. Thats my reasoning for looking for a more active forum (for GC2). The info you can get from a forum while lurking can the worth or more of a 500 page game manual . And I will agree that CivFanatics is by far the best fansite for any game that I have ever run across (been here alot longer than my registration date ).
I will post any questions (somewhat likely, I dont like posting ) or tips (very unlikely ) that I may run across here at CivFan .
