Anyone notice that if you try to explore with a galley, that you violate people's borders, and they demand you leave? so either break their borders, or risk sinking the boat off shore?

I had that happen but fortunately had the Lighthouse and could move into the Sea squares...

I guess this is one reason you might want a right of passage treaty.

Yep I've noticed...they will do it to you as well.

If you are trying to be peaceful go for the freedom of movement treaty with them (or whatever its called...I just declare war myself and get it over with...) Then you can travel through and not worry about it. They will ask the same of you most likely, but maybe you can toss 'em a few gold and contact with someone else for it?

funny thing is that whenever one of my galleys enter her seas, she tells me to get out by saying something like; "your armies are stealing chicken and annoying our women"
