Hi there,
I've been running Civ 4 with all expansion no problem for about two years and have never had a problem doing so. I was playing it no problem as soon as yesterday however today when I tried loading up my game, my whole system froze. It would load up my game but as soon as I clicked on something everything would freeze. I retried, same thing. I thought it might have been my save file so tried loading up a new game however this time my system froze on the pre-game menu.
I'm running it on vista, have plenty of ram, graphics card should be fine (GeForce 7) and really cannot work out what is the problem. I'm not running any background programs like firefox, vlc, or anything. If someone could help me out here I would be very grateful.
