Mostly harmless
Hi all,
That is weird, I have beeing enjoying Civ IV without any crashes after formating the HD, installing Window XP again with SP2 pack, installing the game and patch v 1.09. Things were running smothly, no problems at all. The reason I decided to do that is because a bought a new graphics card
Then, last Friday, I had to register windows XP (good copy, came with the computer, not a illegal copy ) So, I register over the phone. (No internet at home) Then, I started playing the game, and it crashes every 15 minutes or so. Most times to the desktop. I changed the virtual memory to 4 Gb and now the crashes are every 30 minutes or so. I am still playing 
but I would like to play without crashes.
The weird thing is that the game worked fine before the windows registration. Should I send Bill Gates to court and ask for a humongous amounth of money?
Anybody had the same problem?
I am open to ideas about how to solve it. (besides installing window XP again and not registering for 21 days
