For me, I didn't have it happen until AFTER the last patch but I hadn't gotten the amount of cities I had until AFTER the patch. I'm now reading, on the Firaxis forums, that it happened BEFORE the patch as well.
I've had the game for over a month and I've been able to play 4 days...4 days!!!! This is the worst experience with a game-breaking bug that I've ever experienced in a game.

This guy is experiencing what most of us are, a game that flat out doesn't work like it is suppose to. Tech support is totally unresponsive, the only hope of getting help is here on the boards. I don't know about you guys, but this bull$#*% has convinced me to go back to pirating games. Yeah, I used to be a pirate but bought this game with my hard earned money and surprise, it doesn't work. ALL the games I pirated in the past worked perfectly, the one game I purchase legitimately doesn't work. I do most of my gaming on the consoles but occasionally I play pc games. Friaxis reminded me why I pirated in the first place.
