OK. Well, I found time to take a quick peek in CivAssist II, but won't have time to really open up your game tonight. Here's what I see, though:
1) It's 700 AD, and you're still in despotism. Get out of despotism as quickly as possible. The despo penalty is cutting into your food, your shields and your gold. Consequently, it's cutting into your population growth, your military and your research. Get out of despotism as quickly as possible.
2) You've got core towns building wealth. In fact, I see 12 towns on wealth. That's way too many for a 27-town empire. The only victory condition you've got enabled is conquest. Those core towns should be training troops.
3) Kyoto is building a Colosseum. Why?
4) You're running 30% lux, but I don't see any MPs. If you're going to stay in despo that long, you might as well use some of your military units for MP duty.
5) You haven't explored very much of the map. You've got Map Making, so get a couple of galleys in the water and go exploring. That should open up some trading opportunities for you.
6) 27 cities and 27 workers. That's not bad, but try to get more built. Shoot for 2 per city.
7) You have
got to get more military together. You currently have:
- 27 workers;
- 4 warriors;
- 3 spears;
- 1 archer;
- 1 curragh;
- 1 galley;
- 1 horseman;
- 1 settler.
If you're going to conquer the world, you'll need more than that. Get those core towns off of wealth and build some soldiers. You're not paying any unit support yet, so that's not a problem.
8) Your towns are placed mostly at CxxxC. That's OK, once towns get large enough to use that many tiles, but it means lots of unused (wasted) tiles in the early game. If you look at the World Map tab of CA2, you can see all the unused tiles.
Hope this helps.
