Game Menu Changes

I am wanting to change the default options the game presents when you do an advanced single player setup (such as standard size map instead of small). I've been searching through every file I can find and haven't found where these can be changed. Anyone know?

Just start a new single player game without mods, with the options you want. Once the game has started, quit to main menu - those should now be your defaults. It just won't store them if you start through the Mod menu or through Advanced setup I think.

I want to be able to change the Advanced setup. There has to be some file that tells what to load there, just don't know if it's something you can mod.
