Game Option Changer

Gyathaar wrote a Saveconvert - change various settings in save file utility for vanilla and warlords that worked like a treat. The save file format change in BtS broke that and we haven't had one since

A pitboss game over at Realms Beyond used a specifically hacked DLL to change a game option (IIRC, this was postulated as possible by Gyathaar).

I think that this should be an option that we add to BULL. It would add a button to the F8 settings tab that showed another screen where the initial game options were available to change. Also available to change would be the difficulty as well as the game type (single player, pitboss, pbem, etc).

We just need some bunny to research this, put it into the DLL and create the required python screens. Oh - and not break save game compatibility .

Well, as far as i recall, Gyathaar never said that the save format in BtS didn't allowed a BtS Saveconverter-styled utility .... just that the encription was far thougher than the Vanilla/Warlords counterpart and that he didn't wanted to lose a big ammount of time trying to break it
