Hello everyone, i am new here, just recently joined, and new to the Civilization gaming world. I absolutely LOVE the game, it is SO addicting. I do have 1 problem though. I cannot start a new game! it allows me to decide which Civ i want to be, type of world, etc. but right after i build my first city a message appears saying 'Game Over,Man......No further score will be entered" then it gives me the option to Play a couple more turns (without a score being calculated or any other civs there to give me a challenge) or leave immediately! I want to be able to play a new game whenever, so help on this would be greatly appreciated. Also, what are your favorite civs to play as?

Which one do you have?

If you have Conquests, you have to enter the Game Rules section when you assign the Civs I think, and edit the turns.

Just wondering... did you download the game or get a pirated copy?

That happens in civ4 if you get the game illegally.

If you set all the open slots (for enemy players) to "NONE" you will auto win conquest after 1 turn because you'll be the only one standing....

If you want to play a game with you as the only civ, then you have to disable conquest victory at game creation.

I think the game is more fun with all the available slots filled though.

You'd auto win a domination victory.

You'd auto win a domination victory.

Then disable that one too!

I've played a map with only 1 civ, me! And I was able to play it without hitting a victory till I launched the space ship.

Do you talk to yourself while you play with yourself?

No, you'd need 66% of the land area before you get a domination victory. That's NOT claimed land area, but total land area.
