Game Performance Post-1.2 - Slower and More Stuttering?

My PC is nowhere near high-end compared to today's hardware benchmarks, but I've been able to play Civ 7 relatively fine on mid settings, with some more performance-consuming settings set to low.

Ever since patch 1.2, however, I've noticed considerable drop in performance: the game constantly stutters, and many UI tabs are taking longer to load. It used to be only the merchant lens, but now I have to wait even on the production tab. And of course, the issues become increasingly more apparent in Modern.

Anyone else has noticed the same? Share your post-patch game performance here, and hopefully a Firaxian lurking these forums can take notice.

I've got a decent PC, but I've noticed that performance goes to hell after playing for about 6 hours. Not that I do that. I was just testing I swear.

We believe we've identified the issue and are working on a patch now. We'll keep you posted as soon as there's an update. Thanks for your patience"
