game speed

im wonder if its posible to make civ3 go faster on my computer...
im playing a huge map with 15 civs i guess that this is my problem
(130) towns is much but i have a fast computer so can someone help me

Have you tried to disable all animations on the "Preferences" menu? I think it helps a little. You can also try to press SHIFT during the AI's turn. Some people say it also helps a little.

Amen brother! I was reading U.S. News and World Report during the downtime between turns the other day and finished the whole magazine in the space of about 15 turns.

I'm reading too. How could it take so much time? What the hell are AIs doing? Aren't AIs supposed to make decisions in CPU seconds?
