I think I have a problem...a REALLY BIG problem 
I was playing a modded game of civ 3 conquests (the cold war, by el justo,) and had a civ 3 utility program running at the same time (civ assist 2, by ainwood.) No biggie...my computer can handle it. It HAS handled it. I usually watch my cpu usage and page file usage (through taskmanager,) and cpu is normally at 100% (I don't think that's bad...at least, it does that a lot) and pf usage is normally about 300-400 out of 1250 MB.
So, back to the topic: I was playing, then decided to go onto the internet, but not quit my game, because it takes forever to load back up (this is just because I'm playing the cold war...c3c doesn't do that.) So I go to taskmanager and set both CAII, and Civ3 to low priority, so it doesn't take too much of my memory and cpu as I browse the internet. I was on the internet for about 30 minutes, near the end of those 30 min, I checked taskmanager (just out of curiosity,) and saw that my cpu had been at a fairly constant 50% while on the internet, and my page file usage was at about 400MB. I did notice that the cpu usage was beginning to rise, though.
I exited out of the internet explorer, and then put both CAII, and c3c back to normal priority via the taskmanager. By the time I did this, my cpu usage was back to 100%, and as soon as my cpu hit 100%...my page file usage crept up, and up, and up, and up...wth!!!!...my computer is now just about frozen, and taskmanager tells me my page file usage is now at 1.12 GB out of 1.2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know nothing about computers, but I really don't think that's good
So, I "quickly" save (it takes about a minute between each phase of the saving my computer is now soooo slow (at 1.12 gb out of 1.2)) and then try to exit out of both CAII, and c3c.
It took more than 7 minutes until I was actually able to use my computer again!!!!!!!!!!!
The whole time, the taskmanager just shows this steady-slow declining line (meaning my page file usage is barely creaping down.)
it took another 3 minutes until the civ 3 process was actually closed!!!
SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE DONE TO MY LAPTOP!!!!!! (I hope I didn't seriously harm it )
