Game Time

I am about to play my first multi-player game and I would like to know how long of a game everyone suggest and enjoys... I prefer long games that last until the end of time, but I am guessing that most prefer something diffirent. There are many reasons for why certain game modes and lengths are chosen, please don't hold back anything, tell me which MP games are best and your thoughts

My reason for liking long lasting games are because of the experience of each age era and also the use of all units, improvements, goverments, etc.

Since it is possible to save MP games, long lasting games are possible to those with commit to it

I don't know. I've never played multiplayer but I put in a vote for future anyways cause for me, always a long game is best with vendettas to be settled (and so seldomly seem to get properly settled).

After the middle ages the game is over (in most cases). With the beginning of the industrial age it becomes just tedious and boring. As soon as Replacable Parts are known and / or the Hoover Dam is built, the game almost is finished.

It depends, if I have good start, game is over in middle ages (cavalry rush). If normal start, Industrial (arty), if terrible start, no idea

Most of the time I end in the Industrial age.
