Game won't appear after loading. =[

So I launch civ4, and it shows the loading bar, and once it says 'DONE' I can hear the beginning music but the game wont appear. The loading bar just stays there with the words 'DONE' still there. Nothing happens except music.

I can't click on anything or any icons on my desktop, but I can alt-tab myself out. The music stops as if I minimized the game and I can click on icons again. Alttabbing back in still doesn't work though; I can hear the music but no visuals or anything.

Can anyone help me w/ this? Thanks in advance.

This happens to me too. If you wait a few minutes after the music starts playing, the game will start. But if you hit alt-tab or anything to bring up another screen, it will never load.
