Game won't close to desktop

This has been an on-going thing so it didn't just start with the recent update. Anyone know why I have to use task manager to close the game all the time?

Sometimes when exiting the game, my computer locks up. I can get to task manager but even then I can't close Civ VI. Computer requires me to power it down.

Instead of closing civ from task manager, try logging out (or maybe option is switch user) from ctrl-alt-delete screen
