Game wont work

i just got my game the other day and i installed it. it wouldnt startup the run screen came up and then shut down. so i reinstalled it near the end of my reinstall i got a message saying something like "cannot install support files already installed" i think it waz something like that. i am very angry that it wont work so if anyone ahas any ideas please help me.

i heard that it might have something to do with the safedisk program on the disk. but i dont want to download a illegal crack for it. i need help. but i want to stay legal
