gamersgate problem

i have just downloaded ths from gamersgate
i can only run the complete not the warlord or bts ones.
when i try to do so i get failed loading xml file. forthroundtranslation
error parsing xml file

any ideas>

not terribly sure what exactly you downloaded (I guess Civ4 complete?) and what exactly is running (I guess the core game, i.e. Civ4?)
what operating system is this?
